Lake Ashi Pirate Ship and Hakone Shrine

Board the boat from Togendai Port and slowly circle Hakone on the lake.

On the third day, a lake tour is scheduled at Lake Ashi in Hakone. We purchased round-trip ferry tickets at Taoyuan Taiwan Port and upgraded to first class. Take a walk from Hakone Town Port and Motohakone Port to Hakone Shrine.

In the morning at the wooden house, start slowly

Day 3 route

From Hakone Cabin to Togendai Port, take a pirate ship to Hakone Town Port and Motohakone Port, take a walk to Hakone Shrine in the afternoon, and then return to the cabin.

Togendai Port

Buy tickets, wait for the boat, and prepare to go to the lake

The parking space at Taoyuan Tai Port is not large. If there is no parking space nearby, just walk from the parking area next to Kojiri Port. After buying the ticket, the trip on the lake officially begins.

After disembarking at Hakone Port, we found Komon for lunch. The views of the harbor, dining table and windows turn the lake tour into a comfortable intermission.

Moto-Hakone Walk

Walking from the harbor to Hakone Shrine

After finishing the meal, we took the next boat to Motohakone Port. It took about ten minutes to walk from the port to the shrine. The trails around the lake made the afternoon very leisurely.

Back To The Cabin

Return to Taoyuan Terrace and finally return to the wooden house

After returning to Togendai, we took a short rest and then drove to the surrounding areas of Gotemba for supplies. Return to the cabin for dinner and return to the dining table from the lake one day.
